Eos Airline closes; customers stranded
Eos Airlines, the luxury trans-Atlantic carrier that billed itself as “unairline,” flew its final trip last night after filing for bankruptcy over the weekend. Most of the company’s 450 employees have lost their jobs, some of whom work at the airline’s corporate headquarters in Purchase.
